Job description

Turn Clinical Information Into Meaningful Impact. Support the Mission Behind Every Donation.

Are you a clinical professional who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with complex medical information? Do you enjoy ensuring documentation is accurate, complete, and available when others need it?

LifeShare Network is seeking a Clinical Information Coordinator to join our team in Oklahoma City.

Who is LifeShare Network?

LifeShare Network exists to save lives and inspire hope – and is the vital link between organ donors and transplant recipients. Through innovation, collaboration, and operational excellence, we help maximize every donation opportunity and provide hope to thousands of patients awaiting transplantation.

At LifeShare Network, you’ll become part of a mission-driven team devoted to honoring every gift, supporting every family, and advancing the field of organ donation and transplantation.

Your Impact

As the Clinical Information Coordinator, you’ll help ensure the integrity and accuracy of clinical information throughout the donation process. You’ll review donor records, coordinate required documentation and reporting, and collaborate with teams across the organization to maintain consistent, high-quality clinical data.

Your work will help ensure LifeShare Network has reliable information for regulatory reporting, organizational decision-making, research, and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:

  • Review electronic medical records to ensure clinical documentation is complete, accurate, and standardized.
  • Conduct medical record, donor chart, and referral intake reviews.
  • Ensure required post-recovery test results are documented and reported timely in accordance with LifeShare Network and OPTN requirements.
  • Help maintain tools and processes used by Organ Recovery to support accurate and consistent donor documentation.
  • Partner with Quality Systems to ensure the accuracy of information reported to UNet and other required reporting systems.
  • Serve as a departmental resource for electronic medical record design and enhancement initiatives.
  • Support information governance within clinical departments to help ensure stakeholders have access to reliable, high-quality data.
  • Support organizational research efforts through data collection and research education.
  • Identify opportunities to improve documentation processes, workflows, and data quality.
  • Maintain and expand your technical and professional knowledge through ongoing education and training.
  • Collaborate with clinical, quality, data, and operational teams throughout the organization.

Schedule

  • This is a full-time position based in Oklahoma City, with a standard schedule of Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM.
  • This position participates in a rotating weekend on-call schedule for culture reporting. The current rotation is every other weekend and may vary based on team scheduling and coverage needs.
  • During an on-call weekend, you can expect to work a few hours on Saturday and Sunday to review new culture results and report results as needed.
  • During weeks when you are scheduled for weekend coverage, your weekday schedule will be adjusted accordingly to accommodate weekend hours.
  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule, with two days per week in the office and three days working remotely. All weekend on-call work may be completed remotely.

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone who combines clinical knowledge with exceptional attention to detail.

You’ll need:

  • At least one year of experience in an acute-care clinical setting as a Registered Nurse, Paramedic, or Respiratory Therapist, or at least one year of relevant OPO experience.
  • A Bachelor of Science degree is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow tasks through to completion.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort learning and navigating electronic systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • The ability to manage changing priorities, interruptions, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A strong commitment to confidentiality and the responsible handling of donor and recipient information.

Why LifeShare?

At LifeShare Network, the details matter because the mission matters.

Accurate clinical information supports everything from regulatory compliance and organizational decision-making to research and continuous improvement. As a Clinical Information Coordinator, you’ll have the opportunity to apply your clinical experience in a new way while contributing directly to an organization dedicated to saving lives and inspiring hope.

If you’re ready to bring your clinical knowledge, attention to detail, and commitment to accuracy to a mission that makes a difference every day, we encourage you to apply.
