Job description

Vital Delivery Solutions is looking for a dispatcher/customer service representative to join our team!

The ideal candidate will be driven, a team player, have a high level of enthusiasm, attention to detail, excellent customer service skills and the ability to learn quickly. Prior experience is helpful, but not required. All required training will be provided.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls
  • Manage incoming emails
  • Bill and dispatch deliveries using software
  • Manage and monitor dispatch screen and deadlines
  • Assist drivers with questions
  • Verify and file completed paperwork
  • Provide customers with excellent customer service
  • Complete a daily shift checklist

Requirements:

  • Must be reliable and dependable
  • Comfortable with using a smart phone
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Be able to work independently
  • Must have a clean driving record
  • Must have clean criminal history
  • Must provide proof of valid driver's license
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Fast Learner
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work in stressful fast paced environment
  • Must be able to multi-task
