Job Purpose:

Accelerates execution of qualitative and quantitative research with AI/analytics to inform decisions about growth opportunities and competitive positioning.
Business Unit: Provider

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with senior-level market researchers to manage and streamline market research and competitive intelligence projects and platforms to improve the company's competitive position.
  • Use AI and other techniques to resourcefully collect and analyze secondary and primary research data that supports market opportunity, market trend and competitive landscape assessments.
  • Maintain competitive intelligence platform and data and share with stakeholders across departments.
  • Recruit, interview and survey customers and prospects as needed to learn about their experience and attitudes about healthcare technology.
  • Proactively recommend research process improvements to elevate the market research and competitive intelligence functions at Inovalon.
  • Other duties as requested and/or determined.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proficient in AI, advanced Excel and/or other analytics software (SPSS, Q, etc.)
  • Background/experience in Market Research, Information Systems/Informatics, or Business
  • Familiarity with quantitative and/or qualitative market research methodology.
  • Solid analytical, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Interest in competitive intelligence, healthcare technology competitors, tools such as Crayon
  • Previous experience in healthcare or technology research preferred.
  • A team player with a positive, can-do attitude, who loves to learn and who brings analytical and creative thinking to the job.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Sedentary work ( i.e. sitting for long periods of time);
  • Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force;
  • Frequently or constantly to lift, carry push, pull or otherwise move objects and repetitive motions;
  • Subject to inside environmental conditions; and
  • Travel for this position will include less than 5% locally usually for training purposes.

In addition to the base compensation, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.

The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. At Inovalon, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.

Base Compensation Range
$76,800—$102,000 USD
