Lead Enterprise Sales Performance in a High-Impact Builder Partnership
New Home Star is seeking an accomplished, enterprise-level Senior Sales Director to lead and scale sales performance within our dedicated partnership with Simplicity by Hayden Homes.
This executive-level role is employed by New Home Star and serves as the senior sales leader overseeing the Simplicity partnership across the Pacific Northwest. Acting as a strategic partner to the President of Simplicity Homes and New Home Star executive leadership, this leader owns companywide sales performance, forecast integrity, pricing governance, and regional sales leadership execution.
This is not a site-level or embedded builder role. It is a high-visibility enterprise leadership position responsible for driving predictable revenue, building scalable systems, and developing Regional Sales Managers into high-performing business leaders.
The Impact You Will Make
Enterprise Revenue Ownership & Forecast Discipline
  • Own and drive companywide sales results, forecasts, budgets, and revenue targets across multiple regions.
  • Establish disciplined pipeline management and forecast accuracy standards that leadership can rely on.
  • Lead root-cause analysis and corrective action planning when performance gaps occur.
  • Align sales commitments with operational capacity, backlog health, and financial objectives.

Strategic Pricing, Incentives & Market Positioning
  • Govern pricing and incentive strategies using data-driven analysis of buyer behavior, cost structures, and competitive conditions.
  • Identify regional growth opportunities and guide expansion strategy through market intelligence.
  • Maintain strong external market awareness across build-on-your-land segments in OR, WA, and ID.

Leadership of Regional Sales Manager
  • Directly lead, coach, and develop Regional Sales Managers across East and West territories.
  • Establish clear performance standards for sales results, forecast health, talent development, and customer experience execution.
  • Drive organizational depth through structured performance reviews, leadership coaching, and succession planning.
  • Elevate frontline New Home Advisors through sales enablement, training partnership, and accountability systems.

Operational & Cross-Functional Alignment
  • Partner cross-functionally with Construction, Operations, Marketing, and Finance to ensure sales velocity aligns with production timelines and delivery capacity.
  • Maintain rigorous standards for CRM utilization, contract quality, backlog accuracy, and compliance.
  • Ensure readiness at construction handoff and protect customer experience standards at every stage.

Customer Experience & Brand Stewardship
  • Own customer-related escalations and complex negotiations.
  • Monitor survey feedback and lead corrective action when trends decline.
  • Protect brand integrity through disciplined contract execution and process adherence.

What Success Looks Like
Success in this role requires enterprise thinking and disciplined execution. The Senior Sales Director translates strategic objectives into measurable outcomes, builds systems that scale, and develops leaders who consistently deliver predictable performance.
This leader operates with financial acumen, operational fluency, and executive presence-balancing growth ambition with delivery realities to create sustainable, profitable expansion.
What We're Looking For
Experience
  • 10-12+ years of real estate sales or homebuilding experience
  • Minimum 5 years leading multi-region sales teams with director-level reports
  • Build-on-your-land / on-your-lot builder experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ownership of forecasts, revenue targets, and pricing strategy

Leadership Competencies
  • Enterprise-level strategic thinking
  • Strong financial and forecasting acumen
  • Organizational design and talent development capability
  • Executive-level communication and cross-functional influence
  • Data-driven decision making with operational rigor

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience is considered

Travel
  • Approximately 50% within regional markets across the Pacific Northwest (OR, WA, ID), including overnight stays

  • Leadership development through executive summits and ongoing training
  • Participation in Hayden Homes' home purchase discount after 1 year of employment (subject to all eligibility requirements).
  • Hayden Homes Amphitheater concert experience, presale, and discounts for select shows.

This is a rare opportunity to lead at scale, influence enterprise growth, and shape the future of a high-performing regional builder partnership-while being supported by the national infrastructure and leadership platform of New Home Star.
