Consultant (ERP & Business Intelligence)

Olsen specializes in the implementation and optimization of Vista by Viewpoint, an enterprise resource management system used by and for construction companies across North America. To further our mission, we are on the lookout for an exceptionally skilled Consultant to join our elite team of professionals.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide specialized Vista ERP consulting services.

- Assist clients in identifying areas for process improvements within their current Vista setup.

- Lead efforts in problem-solving, investigation, and analysis, providing informed recommendations to clients.

- Collaborate with clients and internal team members to ensure alignment of business objectives and solutions.

- Create and maintain thorough and timely documentation.

- Create customized Power Query reports for data analysis and business intelligence.

- Engage in troubleshooting and issue resolution for clients, while delivering exceptional customer service.

- Assist in the creation and submission of proposals for consulting services.


Qualifications & Experience

- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Management, or a related field.

- 2-5 years of relevant experience in consulting, analytics, ERP support, finance systems, or a similar role.

- Demonstrated experience working with data, including SQL and/or Power Query.

- Strong foundational understanding of business processes (e.g., accounting, finance, operations); construction industry experience is a plus.

- Prior consulting experience or experience working across multiple clients or stakeholders is strongly preferred.

- Comfortable working fully remote and managing workload independently.

- Eligible to work in Canada.

Skills & Attributes

- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and strong analytical skills.

- Understanding of SQL, with ability to review, edit, and create custom objects such as stored procedures, triggers, functions, views and tables.

- Solid technical foundation with a willingness to learn unfamiliar systems and tools.

- Demonstrable expertise in data model optimization and data warehouse/data mart design.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Proven leadership and project management skills.

- High level of integrity and ability to handle the confidentiality of sensitive information.
