Compensation Leader


Our client, a global organization, is seeking an experienced Compensation Leader to lead the design and execution of executive and broad-based compensation programs across North America while supporting global compensation initiatives.


This is a highly visible individual contributor role with significant executive exposure. The successful candidate will partner closely with HR, Finance, Legal, and senior leadership to develop compensation strategies that attract, retain, and reward top talent.


What You'll Do

  • Lead the design, implementation, and administration of executive and broad-based compensation programs
  • Manage base salary structures, annual merit planning, short-term incentives, and long-term equity programs
  • Prepare analyses and recommendations for executive leadership, the Compensation Committee, and Board of Directors
  • Partner with Finance and Legal on equity compensation, stock plans, and related accounting implications
  • Participate in compensation benchmarking using Mercer or similar survey methodologies
  • Develop and maintain job evaluation methodologies, salary structures, and compensation frameworks
  • Conduct market analysis, pay equity reviews, and compensation modeling
  • Advise HR Business Partners and business leaders on compensation strategy and policy
  • Support global compensation alignment and career architecture initiatives
  • Drive process improvements and leverage compensation technology to improve efficiency


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • 10+ years of progressive compensation experience
  • Executive compensation experience is required
