What You’ll Do

Program Manager is responsible for the management of the direct coverage schedule, supervision of 6-7 DSP positions, processing invoices, managing program PEX card, Avatar input and census verification, and ongoing communication with consumers and funding source. The Misty program provide residential services to 12 individuals with mental health challenges. In this role, you will:

  • Provide guidance and leadership to DSP’s, including supervision as assigned by the Program Director
    • Provide DSP’s training and mentoring that supports staff development and document and address any identified needs for improvement.
    • Manage site scheduling including all callouts, no-shows, and time-off requests to provide coverage as needed.
    • Assist in interviewing new DSP candidates.
  • Participate in and attend planning and team meetings for consumers.
  • Respond appropriately to crises by notifying the appropriate persons and completing/submitting incident reports.
  • Report any medical concerns to the Program Director immediately.
  • Respond to the needs of all residents when they supersede the responsibility of the DSP.
  • Liaison with residents’ case managers to ensure open and effective communication.
  • Develop and coordinate the planning of monthly consumer activities and ensure their implementation.
  • Provide day-to-day program support to ensure services are provided per the ISP/treatment plan.
  • Manage, monitor, and reconcile all site and consumer-related expenditures as required.
  • Oversee the maintenance, upkeep, and safety of the physical site and site vehicles, reporting needed repairs, upkeep, and conditions to the Program Director.
  • Monitor and ensure the timely and accurate completion of documentation (logs, medications, inventories, incident reports, assessments, progress van logs, etc.) and communicate issues and/or problems directly to the Program Director.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Program Director.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in social work, psychology, gerontology, anthropology, political science, history, criminal justice, theology, counseling, or education.
  • Preferred: Master's Degree
  • 3 years of mental health direct care experience (2 years shall include supervisory experience).
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working with adults with IDD/Behavioral Mental Health Diagnosis.
  • Demonstrates a strong working knowledge of the appropriate regulations, R.H.D. values, and program policies and procedures.
  • Basic computer and internet literacy with the ability to utilize applications like emails, time recording, and other programs to enter and retrieve data as necessary to perform the essential functions of the job.
  • Valid Driver’s License and personal vehicle with state minimum liability insurance coverage.
  • Subject to employment screenings, including FBI clearance, if applicable.
