Amentum is currently seeking a Program Director for a program located within the Sustainment and Analytics Business Unit. This position will report directly to the Vice President of Operations and will be responsible for all contractual and financial requirements while ensuring compliance and strategic objectives. This position will require exceptional program management skills to create change and the ability to implement best practices and provide excellent customer service. Primary Responsibilities: * Develop and implement program strategies, objectives, and plans to ensure successful delivery of services to the customer. * Identify issues and adapt program plans according to the customer's feedback on the program's cost, performance, quality, schedule, and risk. * Develop and manage the program budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to meet program objectives. * Addresses contractual and technical programmatic issues and works with functional units to prepare modifications and negotiate changes with the appropriate customer. * Track performance metrics develop report formats and prepare reports that demonstrate contract performance for submission to management and the customer. * Facilitate regular meetings and updates with stakeholders to monitor progress and address any issues. * Monitor expenditures and financial performance, implementing corrective actions as necessary. * Ensure that the program complies with all applicable regulations, standards, and contractual obligations. * Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on program performance. * Ensure success in meeting key performance indicators (KPIs). * Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and regulatory agencies. * Act as the primary point of contact for all program-related inquiries and communications. * Identify opportunities for process improvements and innovations within the program to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. * Lead initiatives aimed at optimizing program performance and customer satisfaction. * Analyze comprehensive maintenance evaluation results and make significant operational course corrections based on that data to ensure high quality maintenance is being consistently provided. * Provide in-depth knowledge to evaluate and use a continuous process improvement and program effective maintenance operations. * Perform other duties as assigned. Experience & Education: * Bachelor's degree in an associated discipline. Two (2) years' experiences in related field can be substituted for each year of the four (4) years of college. Master's degree preferred. * At least (20) twenty years of aircraft maintenance leadership/managerial experience equivalent to an Aircraft Maintenance Program Manager, Group or Squadron Commander and has in-depth skills in analytical and evaluative techniques to identify, consider, and resolve issues or problems concerning efficiency and effectiveness of program operations. * Have an in-depth comprehension of large-scale aircraft maintenance organizations and the functions and operations of other Wing/base activities (i.e. Civil Engineering, Logistic, Operations, etc.) and interrelationship between the Maintenance Directorate, AETC/A4, 19 AF/LG, Air Force Materiel Command and Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). * Possess an in-depth understanding of personnel management policies, practices, and procedures. This shall include the ability to adjust work operations to meet emergencies; the ability to change program or production requirements within available resources with minimum sacrifice of quantity or quality of work; and the ability to establish program objectives or performance goals. * Must possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills, be very detailed orientated, flexible and have strong organizational and time management skills to effectively collaborate with multiple levels of stakeholders. * Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
