The Compensation Analyst is responsible for administering and assisting in the development of various domestic and global compensation programs. Responsibilities include salary survey participation, annual compensation benchmarking, salary administration program review and analysis,maintenance of the salary structures, job market pricing and evaluation, contributing to the design and implementation of the compensation strategy, andpreparation of educational materials.

Responsibilities:

  • Assists Compensation management team to develop, administer, and implement market competitive compensation programs.

  • Analyzes job roles and responsibilities to determine appropriate compensation grades

  • Initiates data gathering for participation and completion of salary surveys conducted by third parties.

  • Implements and maintains compensation reporting tools including the salary modeling tool.

  • Participates in the salary administration process including: preparation, analysis, and finalization of tools

  • Maintains salary structures including annual market range updates and ongoing job maintenance.

  • Assists in the implementation and administration of organization bonus and incentive plans.

  • Assists in the development and preparation of compensation training materials.

  • Develops, designs, and maintains report requests, tables, report formats, documentation, and data integrity practices to be used for consistent reporting. Develops reports for external and internal reporting of employee information based on users requests.

  • Organizes, compiles and analyzes data into information communications, reports and presentations to be used for decision making by HR leaders, Operational leaders, and/or other groups

  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Ability to prepare presentation, including charts, graphics, and tables as required.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite with advanced knowledge of MS Excel (pivot tables, formulas and large data sets).

  • Demonstrated data collection, analytic and data reporting/presentation skills required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years' experience in compensation

At RSM, an employee's pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $66,100 - $110,000

Individualsselected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
