  • Participate in business development efforts including joining introductory calls with new clients and developing engagement letters
  • Develop short- and long-term incentive plan recommendations that reflect market norms and client needs, preferences, and philosophy
  • Conduct research via external sources and RCLCO's internal databases to identify appropriate market comparisons for compensation benchmarking
  • Communicate, through both written memoranda and presentations, key findings and recommendations to clients
  • Review work produced by junior team members and provide regular feedback
  • Serve as a thought partner for ongoing enhancements to RCLCO's annual Real Estate Compensation & Benefits Survey, which is the industry's most comprehensive compensation survey, representing over 400 companies nationwide
  • Lead efforts to drive continuous improvements and enhance teamwide processes, templates, and databases

Qualifications:

  • Years of professional experience: 7+ years, ideally in commercial real estate, private equity, or financial services
  • Undergraduate degree, preferably in a business-related field
  • Knowledge of commercial real estate fundamentals including typical functions and roles, capitalization, asset classes, and GP/LP structures; familiarity with promote/carried interest is a plus
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, written and verbal communication skills; strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience working directly with C-suite executives
  • Demonstrated leadership potential and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong PowerPoint skills, including developing executive-level presentations with compelling visuals, graphics, charts, etc.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and analysis, calculating summary statistics, and standard formulas (VLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH, IF THEN, etc.)

Estimated annual base salary: $130K-160K, plus annual bonus. Estimated total annual comp: $236K-286K

Our benefits package includes:

  • Hybrid schedule flexibility, with team members in the office 3+days per week and the option to work fully remote 4 weeks each year
  • 100% paid healthcare for employees, including dental and vision insurance (with the option to upgrade plans and add dependents at team member's expense)
  • Competitive vacation and wellness/sick time provided annually
  • Family planning and fertility benefits
  • Employee stipend for continuing education and professional development
  • Employer-paid family leave after one year of employment
