Job description

This position is based in North Canton, Ohio. Candidates should reside within a reasonable commuting distance of our North Canton office to support team collaboration and business needs.
Position Summary
This position is responsible for administering our HRIS dashboard for all pay changes, position changes, and terminations. They will provide compensation reporting to leadership. They will supply support and training to managers during merit planning. They will develop and provide training materials for managers and users which will reduce errors and improve efficiency. They will use our market survey tools to research and market price jobs. They will manage our Unemployment claims that come in and perform needed research and gather information needed to update claims. They will work closely with many departments such as payroll, benefits, recruiting, safety, field HR and department leaders.
Essential Functions
  • Evaluate and grade job positions to ensure market competitiveness and internal equity.
  • Compensation reporting
  • Make recommendations on pay changes and promotional increases.
  • Manages survey participation and compensation analysis
  • Develop and communicate various training documents to managers ranging from entering promotions, pay changes, terminations, etc.
  • Provides analytical support and data analysis
  • Manage all aspects of position management and support to field
  • Maintain data integrity of the HR database
  • Administer the approval process for promotions and salary changes in HRIS system
  • Provide support and training to management during merit planning
  • Manage unemployment claim process and research accuracy of claims.
  • Support Bonus plan administration as needed.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1 year relevant Compensation/HR experience
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong analytical & mathematical skills
  • HRIS and specific Paycom experience a plus
