We are seeking compassionate Pet Therapy Volunteers who have a certified therapy animal and a heart for serving others. Your visits can brighten a patient’s entire week—reducing anxiety, easing loneliness, and creating moments of genuine happiness.

Pet therapy is one of the most impactful volunteer roles in hospice care. If you’ve ever witnessed the way a patient’s face lights up when a therapy dog enters the room, you already know how powerful this work can be.

What You’ll Do

  • Visit hospice patients in homes, nursing facilities, or assisted‑living communities
  • Offer comfort, companionship, and emotional support through your therapy animal
  • Build meaningful connections with patients, families, and care teams
  • Provide calm, uplifting experiences that improve quality of life
  • Help create moments of joy during a challenging time
