Job description

We are seeking a highly experienced Business Intelligence (BI) Architect with a strong background in data architecture, BI development, and data management. The ideal candidate will have at least ten (10) years of experience designing and implementing data warehouse solutions, BI tools, and enterprise reporting systems to transform raw data into actionable insights. This role requires expertise in ETL processes, predictive analytics, machine learning (ML), and AI-driven intelligence to support data-driven decision-making at an enterprise level.

Position is contingent upon contract award Responsibilities Data Architecture & Integration: * Design and implement data platforms, processes, and procedures for a centralized data warehouse based on business requirements and technical specifications. * Integrate capabilities and information to address data security, authentication, and web accessibility requirements. * Centralize data from multiple sources into a data warehouse and connect it to enterprise BI tools.

Business Intelligence & Data Visualization: * Apply technology to convert complex datasets into meaningful insights using BI software. * Develop automated dashboards with multiple interactive views. * Utilize predictive analytics and real-time reporting for accurate, data-driven intelligence.

Enterprise Data Management & AI/ML Integration: * Support and maintain the BI backend, including data warehouses and data lakes. * Leverage machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance reporting and analysis outcomes. ETL & Data Optimization: * Lead Extract, Load, Transform (ETL) processes across diverse data sources.

* Develop solutions for aggregated facts using metadata and create processes to manage large data volumes efficiently. * Optimize data modeling and database solutions to support data governance and data democratization. Collaboration & Communication: * Effectively communicate complex BI concepts to stakeholders, including IT and business program managers, data architects, scientists, analysts, BI teams, cybersecurity professionals, and data quality management teams.

* Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data integration and reporting. Troubleshooting & Lifecycle Management: * Diagnose and debug operational issues related to data warehouses and BI support components. * Ensure best practices in software lifecycle management, including automated testing, documentation, version control, and change/configuration management.

Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field from an accredited university or college. * Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in data architecture, BI development, or BI management. * Strong expertise in data warehousing, BI tools, and enterprise reporting systems.

* Proficiency in ETL processes, metadata management, and data governance best practices. * Experience implementing predictive analytics, machine learning (ML), and AI-driven reporting. * Strong oral and written communication skills to convey complex BI concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

* Top Secret or Q Clearance required.
