Job description

Note: This position is full time in office in Denver, CO.

This role plays an integral role in agent recognition and retention on the Operations team, setting a positive and upbeat tone. This role is responsible for the planning, coordination, execution, and overall success of Compass events and community involvement initiatives. They develop and implement detailed timelines to ensure all events are executed efficiently and effectively with a focus on details and clear communication; consistently handling multiple events and priorities simultaneously.  Responsible for creating and maintaining agent and employee focused culture activities, community and Compass Cares initiatives,  all event process documentation, and maintaining event budgets.

Additionally this position is responsible for managing and tracking sponsorship programs for the region and coordinating with local office contacts to execute on partnership commitments.

Major Areas of Responsibilities 

  • Event Management and Execution: Responsible for the planning and management of all statewide and local events, collaborating with stakeholders, and successfully executing events that  aid in agent loyalty and retention efforts.
  • Agent Recognition and Retention:  Assisting with Compass recognition awards, social hours, agent appreciation events and other key initiatives that drive retention amongst our agent population.
  • Community Involvement/Outreach:  Management of major company initiatives at the various local office levels as well as in support of the Compass Cares formal programming.
  • Culture Program Management:  Overall program management & coordination of culture initiatives for the region, including both agent and employee-focused recognition.

Who You Are:                                                                                                    

  • Minimum of two years of event management experience and/or customer service experience
  • Experience working with established brands is a plus 
  • The ability to lift up to 20 pounds
  • High stress tolerance is required 
  • Access to reliable transportation with space to transport equipment
  • Willingness to travel for events across Colorado
  • Proficiency in Google Applications including Gmail and Sheets is required 
  • Superior organizational and time management skills

Compensation:

The salary pay range for this position is a base pay of $75,000 - $80,000 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Bonuses and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of benefits. Base pay is based on market location. Minimum wage for the position will always be met.
