Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to understand the specific nature of each patient’s mental health concerns.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based methodologies tailored to the unique needs of each client.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and interventions to help clients navigate their challenges and achieve desirable outcomes.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in the field of mental health counseling to ensure that patients receive the highest standard of care.
• Facilitate referrals to other specialized mental health providers when necessary to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Create a warm, trusting, and engaging counseling atmosphere that encourages open communication and healing.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LMHC at Life Compass Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including adults, adolescents, and families struggling with various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Your empathetic approach and individualized treatment strategies will directly contribute to improving their mental well-being and overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida.
• Proven excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to establish rapport with clients effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to engage clients and facilitate open discussions about their feelings and experiences.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret patient data and develop effective treatment strategies.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in outpatient settings, particularly through telehealth services.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.
• Experience with case management and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.

Compensation and Benefits
