Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health needs, utilizing diagnostic assessment tools and therapeutic interviews.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that outline therapeutic goals and strategies, regularly evaluating client progress towards these goals.
• Facilitate individual, couples, and group therapy sessions, employing a range of modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and mindfulness-based approaches.
• Assist clients in building effective coping strategies and life skills, tailored to their unique experiences and goals.
• Actively collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and other healthcare providers, to ensure comprehensive care for all clients.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA standards, ensuring all information is documented accurately and timely.

Qualifications

• Active licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Colorado.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, families, and colleagues.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, demonstrating a collaborative spirit and mutual respect.
• Experience working with diverse populations and demonstrating cultural competence in counseling practices.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in community mental health settings or telehealth practices is preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to support efficient documentation and client management.
• Advanced training in specific therapeutic modalities is a plus (e.g., EMDR, play therapy, or mindfulness techniques).

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive salary range between USD 70,000 and 90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload.
