Job description


Pool and Spa Depot, headquartered in LaVergne, TN, is looking to add a Company Training Coordinator to our rapidly growing team.
The ideal candidate for this position needs to have the ability to document, teach and follow up with Standard Operating Procedures for the entire company comprised of Retail, Service, Warehouse and Construction departments. We are continuing the development of our training department that will be led by this position. Working well with key stakeholders in the business is a critical skill needed. You must be able to work independently, and also within a group in order to grow this new department.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Compile written documentation of processes in all key areas of our business.
  • Must be able to monitor all training activities of new and advanced trainees.
  • Maintain the company LMS - Learning Management System
  • Organize all training materials within the organization for team members to be able to maximize access and availability.
  • Develop week long training sessions focused on Sales, Service and overall Operations.
  • Facilitate through Subject Matter Experts, Pool and Spa Depot University training sessions.

EXPERIENCE:
  • Previous training experience is required. (Candidates without training experience on their resume will not be considered.)
  • Two years related training experience or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of retail sales and operations.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in motivating others through training.
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards.
  • Previous experience working with a company LMS.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
