Job description

Ballard Water Well Company is seeking a skilled Truck & Equipment Mechanic with experience in water well drilling and mechanical maintenance. This role demands quality workmanship, punctuality, a strong safety focus, and the ability to work effectively as part of a professional team. You will be responsible for maintaining drilling equipment and supporting water well drilling operations across Texas while leading a small drilling crew and contributing to a safe and organized job site.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and troubleshoot water well drilling equipment and machinery
  • Perform equipment fabrication and mechanical repairs as needed
  • Drill residential, commercial, agricultural, and public water wells safely and efficiently
  • Lead a small drilling crew with professionalism and teamwork
  • Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and maintain a safe job site
  • Utilize basic digital tools for scheduling and work coordination
  • Represent Ballard Water Well Company with respect and professionalism on site

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Texas Driver License
  • Experience in water well drilling and equipment mechanics
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including moderate lifting and working outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Strong attendance record with reliable transportation
  • Commitment to safety and team collaboration
