Job description

Job Summary:
MANN+HUMMEL Filtration Technology US LLC is seeking a Manager Product Development to lead product development activities for the NAFTA filtration business segments. The role includes developing product strategies, coordinating with sales and marketing, and providing technical support and training.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement product strategies and lifecycle management plans for Independent Aftermarket (IAM) filtration products.
• Coordinate with Sales and Marketing to support new product introductions and product line expansions across multiple brands.
• Manage and analyze Vehicles in Operation (VIO) data and related tools to support product decisions.
• Prepare financial and technical justifications for product selection, including profit estimation and ROI analysis.
• Conduct competitive product analysis and benchmarking. Create product bulletins and new number announcements.
• Provide technical support and product training, including during internal training sessions.
• Supervise and coordinate daily and ad hoc activities of the product development team.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for Independent Aftermarket (IAM) filtration product knowledge within the organization.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field
• 5 years of progressive post-bachelor’s degree experience as a Product Manager, Sales and Product Engineering Manager, or closely related occupation in the auto parts industry
• At least 1 year of experience with cataloging channels of automotive filtration products for independent aftermarket, Original Equipment (OE), and Original Equipment Suppliers (OES)
• Experience with G-KAT for cataloging
• Experience with CIM Database
• Experience with Project Lifecycle Management for automotive filtration products
