PRN | Days - Flexible Hours

Pay: Starting at $14/hr

No Travel! - All work is on our beautiful campus located in Sewickley, PA


What You'll Do As a Companion:

As a Companion Homemaker, you will carry out our Mission of Love by shopping with or for residents, accompanying residents for appointments, pet care, laundry, medication reminders, light housekeeping, bath/shower safety and social visits.

Our Companion is responsible for the following:

  • Provides quality companionship services to seniors in their homes with specific services as outlined in the service plan.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living i.e. bathing, hair care, nail care, mouth care, feeding, skin care, and toileting. Completes and documents all care as assigned accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Assist in meal preparation and providing cueing for meals as indicated.
  • Assists in keeping resident's living area neat to include light housekeeping chores and laundry as directed by the service plan.
  • Transports resident to activities or appointments and run errands as directed by the service plan.

What You Need as a Companion:

  • High school diploma or equivalency preferred, but not essential
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check
  • Sincere interest in working with the elderly
  • Satisfactorily completes orientation training
  • Valid Pennsylvania Drivers License required
