Job description

Overview:

The Community Relation Manager will represent a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training school by building and maintaining strategic partnerships with Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) across California. This role is also responsible for identifying and recruiting Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) who meet California Department of Public Health (CDPH) requirements to serve as clinical instructors for the program. The ideal candidate is results-driven, knowledgeable about healthcare education and SNF operations, and possesses strong communication and networking skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Site Development:

·       Identify, contact, and develop partnerships with SNFs to serve as clinical rotation sites for CNA students.

·       Ensure all clinical partner sites meet CDPH and school accreditation standards.

·       Coordinate agreements and documentation with SNFs, while maintaining regulatory compliance.

·       Schedule and confirm clinical rotation placements in collaboration with the program coordinator.

LVN Instructor Recruitment:

·       Actively recruit qualified LVNs who meet CDPH criteria to serve as clinical instructors.

·       Maintain a pool of potential instructors and assist with onboarding and credentialing processes.

·       Collaborate with the education team to match instructors with student groups and clinical sites.

Relationship Management:

·       Serve as the primary liaison between the CNA school and SNF partners.

·       Conduct regular site visits and maintain ongoing communication with facility administrators, DONs, and staff.

·       Represent the school at local healthcare and workforce development events, job fairs, and community outreach initiatives.

Reporting and Compliance:

·       Track and document outreach efforts, partnerships, and clinical site usage.

·       Ensure accurate reporting of clinical site and instructor data in accordance with CDPH regulations.

·       Collaborate with school leadership to maintain up-to-date compliance records for site approvals and instructor credentials.

Qualifications:

·       Bachelor's degree in healthcare, Public Relations, Education, or related field (preferred).

·       Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare education, staffing, admissions, or business development.

·       Familiarity with CDPH CNA program requirements and SNF clinical operations in California.

·       Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

·       Ability to travel locally within California.
