As an LCSW at Riverbend, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting detailed psychosocial assessments to identify client needs, concerns, and strengths.
• Providing individual, family, and group therapy utilizing evidence-based therapies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to client goals, ensuring a holistic approach to mental health.
• Collaborating with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other professionals to deliver coordinated care.
• Offering crisis intervention, including risk assessments and safety planning, as necessary.
• Facilitating group therapy sessions and psychoeducational classes to support community engagement.
• Documenting all client interactions, assessments, and treatment progress in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

Our patient population encompasses diverse individuals of varying ages, cultural backgrounds, and mental health needs. To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New Jersey.

• Excellent communication, assessment, and interpersonal skills.

While not mandatory, the following experience will enhance your application:

• A minimum of two years in a mental health or outpatient setting, working directly with clients.
• Demonstrated expertise in using teletherapy platforms and technology.
