Job Summary

Respiratory Care Instructor/Director of Clinical Education for the Whitesburg Campus to teach in an Associate of Applied Science Respiratory Care Program. This is a full-time 10 month defined term contract.

Job Duties:

To teach in an Associate of Applied Science Respiratory Care Program. In addition to teaching in the respiratory care program, this position will also serve as the director of clinical education and is responsible for all aspects of the clinical experiences of students enrolled in the program including organization, administration, continuous review and revision, planning and development of clinical site locations.
Some travel may be required to various clinical sites throughout the service area. In addition to teaching, faculty members are responsible for professional development, committee assignments and internal/external community service.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must have a bachelor's degree from an academic institution accredited by a regional or national accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. The candidate must also hold a valid Registered Respiratory Therapy credential and a current KY state license. A minimum of four years' experience as a respiratory therapist with at least two years of clinical respiratory care is required.
