Essential Responsibilities:

What You'll Do

  • Provide high-quality medical and surgical care while remaining actively involved in patient care
  • Lead by example, helping establish and maintain high medical standards throughout the practice
  • Mentor and support associate veterinarians, helping them grow clinically and professionally
  • Partner with hospital leadership to guide medical decisions, practice performance, and team success
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable culture where exceptional patient care comes first
  • Build strong client relationships through compassionate communication and education
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with veterinary regulations and medical standards

Requirements/Qualifications:

Requirements

  • Experienced Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an AVMA-accredited program
  • Active Florida veterinary license (or ability to obtain)
  • DEA licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Strong communication, leadership, and client relationship skills
  • Collaborative, positive, and team-oriented approach to patient care
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds independently and assist with larger patients or equipment as needed
