Job Summary:

The Specialist I, Production Data Analyst, will support the production team by analyzing, interpreting, and managing production data to improve operational efficiency. This position plays a key role in monitoring performance, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to support continuous improvement within the manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience working with production data systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, organize, and analyze production data from various manufacturing processes, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track production efficiency, yield rates, downtime, and other critical metrics.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to communicate insights to management and production teams.
  • Identify trends, anomalies, and potential areas for improvement in production performance.
  • Collaborate with production, quality control, and engineering teams to identify and resolve data-related issues.
  • Support the implementation of data-driven solutions to enhance production workflows and achieve efficiency goals.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for production-related issues and assist in recommending corrective actions.
  • Perform ad-hoc data analysis and reporting requests as needed by leadership.
  • Ensure that all production data is accurately documented and maintained in compliance with company standards and industry regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in following disciplines, Engineering, Business, Data Science, Statistics, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong proficiency with data analysis tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Experience with production data systems, ERP systems, or manufacturing software is an asset.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and actionable manner.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
