Key Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with the Sales Manager to establish and recommend sales goals for the project;
  • Maintain accuracy and timely flow of all required paperwork and legal documentation between the Sales Centre and the central office;
  • Maintain visual excellence of on-site Sales Centres, showhomes and spec homes;
  • Maintain an accurate and current database of all prospects using Salesforce and NewStar’s Client Management System;
  • Document Purchaser upgrades; 
  • Develop and maintain client and realtor relationships to support business development opportunities through active and ongoing follow-up;
  • Remain current on competitive sales data and inventory;
  • Constructively handle responses to customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and time sensitive manner;
  • Represent HRM at Developer Builder’s Meetings and other Developer related events;
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements: 

  • 3-5 years of progressive sales experience;
  • Previous experience in the residential construction industry, is preferred;
  • An understanding of customer and market dynamics;
  • Strong client relationship management skills;
  • Problem-solving;
  • Previous experience with Salesforce and NewStar would be considered an asset but training will be provided if needed.

Working Conditions: 
Show home hours are Monday to Thursday 2:00pm to 8:00 pm, Saturday and Sunday 12:00pm to 5:00pm. Work and functions outside of show homes hours will be required.
