Safety Ambassador Supervisor


Job Type: Part-Time, Non-Exempt
Location: Greater Bay Area
Salary Range: $23.00 โ€“ $26.00 per hour

Schedule: Open availability required (including weekends and holidays)

About the Role:
Diligence Security Group is seeking an experienced and energetic Safety Ambassador Supervisor to lead our team of ambassadors in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment across educational and public settings. This position requires a hands-on leader with excellent communication, customer service, and technology skills who can supervise field operations and interact positively with students, staff, and the general public.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate day-to-day activities of Safety Ambassadors
  • Maintain a visible, professional security presence across campuses and community areas
  • Ensure team adherence to site protocols, safety procedures, and post orders
  • Conduct inspections and evaluations of ambassador performance
  • Serve as point of contact for school officials, clients, and the public
  • Respond promptly to incidents, provide support, and generate detailed reports
  • Assist in training, scheduling, and conflict resolution
  • Administer or supervise Narcan deployment in the event of an opioid-related emergency

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of supervisory experience, ideally in a security or community safety setting
  • Experience working in educational environments and engaging with the public
  • Valid BSIS Guard Card
  • Valid Driver's License
  • CPR/First Aid Certification (required); Active Shooter and De-escalation training (preferred)
  • Strong communication, customer service, and technology skills
  • Must be able to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods and work in indoor/outdoor conditions
  • Open availability for various shifts and emergency response

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Associateโ€™s degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Public Safety, or a related field preferred
