Job description

Role Summary
Join Associated Bank's Community Accountability team and help strengthen the communities we serve through impactful programs, partnerships, and outreach initiatives. In this role, you will coordinate community investment programs, manage reporting and administrative activities, and support strategic initiatives that drive positive community outcomes. This position offers opportunities to develop expertise in community development, program management, and corporate social responsibility.
Operates in full compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as applicable regulations and laws, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering and S.A.F.E. Act requirements. Must submit required information to meet registry requirements, obtain a unique identifier, and maintain the registration requirements as directed by the S.A.F.E Act.
Key Accountabilities
  • Coordinate community investment and outreach programs to support the bank's community development strategy and objectives.
  • Manage grant administration activities, including tracking, reporting, reconciliation, and program documentation.
  • Support administration of community investment programs by ensuring compliance with program requirements and timelines.
  • Facilitate meetings, maintain records, and coordinate communications for advisory councils and community accountability teams.
  • Monitor program performance, analyze data, and prepare reports and presentations that measure impact and outcomes.
  • Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to support community initiatives, volunteer efforts, and training opportunities.
  • Respond to inquiries from customers, community partners, and internal stakeholders while delivering excellent service.
  • Recommend process improvements that enhance program effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance.

Education & Experience
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Community Development, CRA Compliance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in community development, residential or small business sales, operations, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis, tracking, reporting, and program administration.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and the ability to learn new systems and technologies.

Preferred
  • 1+ years of experience in residential lending sales or operations.
  • Experience supporting community investment, grant administration, corporate social responsibility, or nonprofit initiatives.
  • Knowledge of community development programs, regulatory requirements, or affordable housing initiatives.
  • Strong project coordination, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
