Overview

Artex is a global leader in the alternative risk space and the 3rd largest Insurance Manager in the world, with 1,000 employees across the globe and 5000 clients. Our employees work together to conceive, design, and manage alternative risk transfer solutions that help our clients manage today’s challenges and tomorrow’s opportunities.

The Program Manager is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and establishing relationships with clients. This role will collaborate with other team members to achieve goals, constantly seek improvement and will demonstrate the Artex values. The Program Manager works closely with the Captive Director, Assistant Captive Director, Program Assistant and other team members in servicing designated groups of clients as it relates to the annual program renewal process, and various other responsibilities. The Program Manager is accountable for delivering high quality and efficient service to both internal and external clients by managing the overall workflow processes.


How you'll make an impact

Captive Renewal Management                                                                                                                                                                                                            

  • Lead the end-to-end captive renewal submission process ensuring timely and accurate collection of exposure and loss data. Validate all necessary information has been received to submit the captive renewal submission to the various service providers.
  • Engage with carrier to obtain renewal coverage template and updated policy forms.
  • Guide Program Assistant with timely issuance of renewal proposals and confirmations of binding.
  • Secure necessary source documents and request captive renewal invoices.
  • Manage the policy issuance process.

Financial and Compliance Oversight

  • Coordinate and ensure accurate schedules related to premium payments, loss experience charges, loss bills and various other captive related expenses. 
  • Review member policies to ensure compliance with program renewal terms and conditions.
  • Process policy year-end audits, including preparation of the Audit Factor Worksheets and verifying the accuracy of the audit documents.
  • Coordinate and distribute loss summary information to service providers.
  • Provide essential data to service providers for preparation of captive financial statements.

Client and Program Support

  • Onboard new clients into the captive program.
  • Maintain positive and professional relationships with captive service providers and brokers.
  • Proactively anticipate client and program needs, identifying and implementing effective solutions.
  • Provide training and collaborate with the Program Assistant to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations.

Board Meeting Coordination

  • Schedule pre and post board meeting Teams calls.
  • Create agendas, compile meeting material, and manage the distribution of materials for board meetings.
  • Coordinate attendee list, name badges and tent cards.

Administration and Other Duties

  • Perform additional tasks as assigned to support overall success of the captives.

About You

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree and 3 or more years client coordination and/or claims management experience, OR High School degree with 8 or more years client coordination and/or claims management experience
  • Property & Casualty License required
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications and MS Office
  • Proven experience in administration roles and servicing client accounts
  • Solid understanding of the insurance brokerage industry and its operations
  • Proficient in leveraging technology to enhance productivity and ensure high-quality outcomes
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to prioritize task effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with internal teams and external partners
  • Resilient and adaptable mindset to navigate shifting priorities and challenges
  • Enthusiastic team player with a collaborative approach to working with colleagues and stakeholders
