Job description

JOB PURPOSE:

The Program Manager is primarily responsible for day-to-day operations of the Pensacola, Florida Health and Wellness Center which will be providing health and wellness services for veterans.

This position will oversee the execution of activities to include outreach, health and wellness services, case management, physical fitness and nutrition planning, scheduling of behavioral health services, and coordination of services with community service partners such as chiropractors, massage therapists, etc. The Program Manager will also be responsible for understanding, completing, and reporting on all program deliverables.

The Program Manager should understand veteran needs, as well as health and wellness, project management, outreach, case management operations, and process improvement. ย This position will be a spokesperson for the program and the capabilities that Endeavors provides in Pensacola, Florida.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee & support all operations for the Pensacola Health and Wellness Center.
  • In coordination with Endeavors Community Engagement, lead and coordinate marketing and outreach initiatives to raise awareness of the Centerโ€™s programs and attract new clients and tenants.
  • Initiate, guide, and support staff with continuous quality and process improvements.
  • Forecast budget planning and execute expenditures of program funds to achieve the directed margin.
  • Collaboratively work with specialized staff to monitor client needs and implement new support services when indicated.
  • Represent the center in local, state, and national forums, promoting partnerships and advocating for the centerโ€™s services and mission.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize center operations and enhance service delivery.
  • Oversee performance measurement, capturing and reporting client outcomes.
  • Track and complete funder deliverables, audits, surveys, and compliance requirements.ย ย 
  • Participate in, organize, and train staff in established best practices.
  • Other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:ย 

ย 

EDUCATION: Bachelorโ€™s degree (Masters preferred) from an accredited college or university.ย  Experience may be considered in lieu of education.

EXPERIENCE: 2+ years of experience with managerial/supervisory responsibilities and program level leadership experience is required. Experience across a range of modalities within social work or counseling preferred. Experience working with veteran population is strongly preferred. Must demonstrate leadership capacity and ability to foster team building and a supportive, flexible environment. ย 

ATTENDANCE: Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined in the employerโ€™s sole discretion.

LICENSES: Driverโ€™s License with clear record.

VEHICLE: Must have daily use of a vehicle without prior notice.

OTHER: Must be available and willing to travel to various locations and with such frequency as the business need dictates. Must be available and willing to work nights, weekends and holidays as required to meet business needs. Must not pose a direct threat or significant risk of substantial harm to the safety or health of himself/herself or others. Employee should expect to work one evening a week and weekend days as needed to accommodate the operations.
