Job description

The Program Director provides high-level administrative support to the executive team, handling a wide range of administrative and executive support tasks. This individual is responsible for managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and ensuring the efficient flow of information within the organization. The ideal candidate is highly organized, professional, and capable of managing confidential information with discretion.
Program Director/ Key Responsibilities:

•Be available for flexible work hours throughout weekdays, weekends, day, evening and night shift AS NEEDED.
•Ensures organization stays within organizational budget. 
•Assists with all referrals as it pertains to interviewing and intakes for each youth that enters care.
•Ensures all properties are managed and trained properly, resulting in write ups and disciplinary actions.
• Assist with hiring, terminations, job performance and life skills.
•Ensures the company's culture is exhibited throughout the organization.
• Identifies and reports any suspected abuse or violations of an individual's rights.
• Ensures that the health, safety and well-being of the individuals are protected at all times.
• Supervises and maintains a positive team of well-trained employees who provide support, direction and oversight to the interactions of individuals. Ensure that staff carry out program objectives goals.
• Provides training and constructive feedback to employees through positive interactions, role modeling, and mentoring.
• Ensures implementation of therapy, training and behavior programs and data collection required by the individuals' plans regulatory agencies.
• Ensures that the home offers choice and creative activities by creating monthly activity calendar. Ensure life skills within a positive innovative person directed environment.
• Monitors for ongoing compliance with agency directives, licensing standards and policies and procedures.
• Ensures all homes, outside areas and vehicles are well maintained and organized.
• Proficiency in the English language (both written and verbal) is required as this job entails direct care of children receiving services.
• Ensures treatment plans are conducted and submitted timely, Monthly Progress Reports, and Monthly Life skills are written monthly to ensure company's goals.
• Register youth in school and attend all ESSA meetings and ensure IEP/504 each youth is conducted timely with their assigned school.
• Ensure Behavioral Management Plan is implemented on each youth.
• Ensure all medical, dental, and vision appointments are carried out.
• Employees are required to communicate, both orally and / or via group text, with staff and others regarding medical care, supports, services, appointments, punishments and rewards.
• Ensure that the Medication Administration Record (MAR) sheets are correct and current.
• Attend all MDT/PSS meetings as it pertains to the youth.
• Ensure Life skills to Independence is carried out as it pertains to: driver's permits, driver's lessons, and vocational rehabilitation.
• Must successfully complete the pre-employment Background and Drug Screenings and required training.
• Any duty that the CEO may add to the organization's discretion.

Qualifications: 

• Must possess a valid Driver's License which meets company standards for approved driver status.
• Must possess basic computer skills.
• Must possess a High School Diploma, bachelor's degree preferred.
• Must have experience with At Risk youth is required. Mental health and/or Behavioral Health experience is preferred.
• Must pass a Level 2 background check, FDLE / WALSH.
• Education:

-High school diploma required; some positions may require a bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, education, or a related field.
• Experience: Experience working with youth in a group setting, such as in schools, camps, or community programs, is often required.
• Skills:

-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in teams and independently.
- Patience, empathy, and a non-judgmental attitude.
• Certification:

-First Aid and CPR certification.
- 21 hours Pre-Service training
