When School's Out...Clubs are In! This is a PART-TIME position, approximately 20 hours per week (full-time hours in summer). Position: Program Assistant - Games Room (Part-Time)Hours: Between 2:30pm and 6:30pm Monday through Friday during the school year (up to 20 hours per week), and up to 40 hours per week between 7:30am-6:30pm during June and July for the summer program. Occasional evening or weekend events may be required (these are very infrequent). Pay Rate: $15 per hour Boys & Girls Clubs are more than simply a place for kids to "hang out"; for many young people we are a sanctuary that provides a safe, nurturing environment in which to learn and grow. It is the dedication and support of caring adults that allows for this enrichment, hope and opportunity. Program Assistants work directly with Club members (ages 6 to 18) in our various program areas. The Games Room Program Assistant is responsible for overseeing the game room area within a club, planning and facilitating recreational activities for members, enforcing safety rules, maintaining equipment, and creating a positive and engaging environment for young people to enjoy various games and activities, all while promoting youth development through active play.
