Are you passionate about strengthening families and helping individuals thrive? Lutheran Social Services (LSS) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapist in Training to join our Family Preservation Team, serving children, youth, and adults enrolled in Comprehensive Community Services (CCS) throughout Taylor, Price, and Sawyer Counties.

This role offers the opportunity to provide in-home therapy, build meaningful relationships, and support clients in achieving their goals through strength-based, evidence-based practices.

This full‑time, benefit‑eligible salaried position offers exceptional flexibility, empowering you to design your own schedule while accommodating client needs. You can balance daytime, evening, or preferred hours in a way that supports both your professional goals and the individuals you serve.

What You'll Do
  • Provide therapeutic services to individuals and or families based on assigned programs
  • Collaborate with clients to create goal‑focused, individualized service plans
  • Deliver services in a variety of settings, which may include office, community, or client‑preferred locations
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with agency and funding requirements
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary team members and community partners
What You'll Bring
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field

  • Practicum experience relevant to LSS services

  • Eligibility for a WI “in training” license (APSW, MFT, or LPC)

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
