Job description

Community Support Worker
Looking for a rewarding job where you make a difference? We have the opportunity for you! As a Community Support Worker, you will work one on one with individuals in an apartment setting to support them through their journey to independence! If you've got experience as a Direct Support Professional, ARMHS or ILS worker we want to talk to you.

Full time day shifts available: Sunday-Thursday 7:30am-4pm or Tues-Saturday 7:30am-4pm. One weekend day required

In this position, you have the flexibility of working independently while also having the structure and support of a team.

Benefits of this position include:
Full-Time positions are eligible for all benefits (Vacation, Sick time, Health, Dental, and Life Insurance)
Part-time (30-39 hrs/week) are also eligible for sick time and health benefits
Internal growth/Promotional opportunities

Starting Salary: $18.50 hourly

Benefits: Eligible 1st of the month after 60 days employment. Health insurance (ICHRA), Dental, Vision, Company Paid Life/LTD. 401k-eligible after 90 days employment. Must be scheduled 30+ hours per week to be benefits-eligible.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience doing Direct Support Professional Work, ILS, or ARMHS work (1 year experience preferred)
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Willingness to do personal cares (dressing, bathing/showering, toileting) with clients
  • Valid US driver's license
  • Basic computer skills

Options Residential, Inc will conduct a Minnesota Department of Human Services Background Study on all new employees. Employees in driving positions will also be subject to a Motor Vehicle Background check. Continued employment will be contingent on a cleared background study and a satisfactory MVR.
