Job description:
- Interview client; explain program benefits and requirements to clients; obtain and verify information necessary to process applications and recertification.
- Advise clients on viable program options; provide referrals for other resources. Assist clients with county, state, federal and other nonprofit program applications
- Work in cooperation and coordination with county staff, local, state and federal agencies, service providers and nonprofits to provide client access to services and application or renewal assistance.
- Maintain case files and records
- Respond to client concerns and complaints; recommend potential program referrals and advocacy as needed.
- Participate in ongoing job-specific training.
- Participate in agency outreach, networking, and interagency meetings.
Employment Requirements:

- Consistent daily attendance required Monday - Friday
Qualifications:
- Thorough knowledge of cooperative community resources and programs as well as the principles and practices of public social service organizations.
- Compose standard and specialized business correspondence.
- Create and maintain applicable files, case, and program records.
- Proficiency in standard office equipment and software

- Analyze data and exercise sound judgment in arriving at conclusions.
- Follow complex oral and written instructions.
- Manage workload and meet frequent deadlines.
- Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, coworkers, comparable agencies at other levels of government, business partners, and the general public.
