Description
Intern Ministry Requirements (25 - 29 hours/week)
  • Interns will understand that campus ministry runs on a 24/7 schedule.
  • Whenever possible, the Intern will be given a "target group" of students on which they will focus their time and energy. This involves planning and executing social interactions, teaching, events, etc.
  • Interns will be involved in organizing/leading at least one student leadership group.
  • Interns will be responsible for regularly creating and maintaining up to three small groups each semester.
  • Interns will be regularly involved in reaching new students.
  • Interns will be regularly involved in creative, relational ministry within the FEAST community.
  • Interns will attend ALL FEAST events unless excused by the Campus Minister.
  • Interns may be asked to perform administrative duties essential to the functioning of Point's ministry.
  • Interns will participate in the regular cleaning and maintenance of the FEAST House and facilities.
  • Interns will meet regularly with the Campus Minister/Assistant CM.
  • Interns will maintain a "mentoree" relationship with an older Christian who is outside the FEAST staff and community.
  • Interns will maintain strict confidentiality concerning staff interaction and discussions.
  • Interns will regularly attend Sunday worship in a local church.
  • Interns will NOT date FEAST/Point students while employed as a ministry intern.
  • Interns will participate in raising funds for the Center for Spiritual Formation - 20% of monthly salary is the goal.

Appointment:
The Point Ministry Internship is approximately 9 months in duration. You will begin just before Fall semester begins and complete the appointment just after Spring semester ends.

  • Have a desire to be used to connect students to Him and see them grow spiritually.
  • Agree with Point's Statement of Faith, Statement of Beliefs, and the FEAST philosophy of ministry (relationships are key).
  • Be eager to listen, learn, and grow as a follower of Jesus and servant of the Kingdom.
  • Be committed to living a life worthy of the Lord and of emulation by others.
