How You'll Make a Difference

As ourCommunity Relations Manager, you will be the face and voice of Mosaic in the local community. You will build key partnerships, share inspiring stories, engage faith groups, and cultivate relationships that propel our mission forward.

Key Responsibilities
  • Outreach & Awareness:Develop community awareness plans, build partnerships, and showcase Mosaic's work.

  • Volunteer & Church Relations:Recruit and direct volunteer teams while fostering connections across the local faith community.

  • Donor & Grant Development:Cultivate donor relationships, assist with local fundraising, and collaborate on grant proposals.

Essential Skills:
  • Master Relationship Builder:Exceptional communication, public speaking, and presentation skills.

  • Organizational Dynamo:Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and work independently as well as collaboratively.

  • Adaptable & Mobile:Ability to travel locally and work flexible hours to represent Mosaic at community events.

  • Public Relations Savvy:Knowledge of modern communication principles, social media relations, and promotional strategies.

What You Bring to the Table

We are looking for a grounded, enthusiastic professional who lives out our values ofbelonging, connection, faithfulness, and grit.

  • Education:Bachelor's degree in PR, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent work experience.

  • Experience:Minimum 2 years in a similar PR, fundraising or community relations role.(Grant writing and volunteer management experience preferred).

  • Key Skills:Exceptional relationship-building, public speaking, social media management, event coordination, and project management skills.
