Job description

Summary of Job:
We are seeking a hardworking and reliable individual to join our team as a Crawlspace Encapsulation Helper. The ideal candidate will assist our lead technicians in installing crawlspace encapsulation systems, including vapor barriers, insulation, and sealing materials. This is a hands-on position that requires physical labor and attention to detail.
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in related field preferred.
  • Ability to perform physical labor and lift heavy objects.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Skills and Abilities:
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Customer service skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of residential HVAC systems
  • Knowledge of airflow, air quality, and duct materials/systems
  • General knowledge on pulling electrical circuits
  • Knowledge and experience on installing and setting up controls on dehumidifiers
  • Install and set up sump pumps and drain piping for pumps
  • Knowledge and skill to perform proper air sealing in crawlspace to industry and Lee Company standards
  • Measure, laying and securing plastic on Cat. 1 and Cat. 2 crawlspace renovations
  • Skill on removal and reinstalling floor insulation
  • Knowledge and skill on crawlspace cleanup and leveling ground for proper drainage
  • Skill to proper seal crawlspace vents, floor penetrations, seal around ductwork to package units
  • Properly install and set up moisture controls for dehumidifier
  • Plan and maintain a safe workspace environment while performing crawlspace encapsulation and crawlspace renovation jobs as per Lee Company standards.
