The First Bank and Trust Company is looking for an experienced Commercial Loan Officer who thrives on producing new business and building lasting relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively source, development, and maintain commercial banking relationships in Virginia.
  • Assists with implementing the bank’s business plan and keeping management informed of internal resources, market conditions, and competitive pressures.
  • Identify lending opportunities, structure competitive loan packages, and guide borrowers through the application process.
  • Manage and grow your loan portfolio with a focus on retention and cross-selling.
  • Partner with credit, deposit, and operation co-workers to deliver smooth, efficient service to clients.
  • Identify and explore business development opportunities within the community.
  • Represent the bank in the community to develop business and promote The First Bank and Trust products and services.
