2K's Cat Daddy studio, based in Kirkland, Washington, was started 25+ years ago by industry veterans and is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Take-Two Interactive within the 2K Label. The studio is a fun, dedicated family of incredibly hardworking game developers. We have shipped games on almost every genre and platform, with a current focus on mobile games.

What We Need:

We're looking for a Community Manager to run day-to-day player-facing efforts for one of our mobile titles. Reporting to community leadership, this role executes community programs across platforms, runs engagement initiatives, and helps maintain feedback loops between players and the development team. You'll help operate systems that keep communities safe and active, support development professionals with player context, and bring the player perspective into feature discussions. Success in this role means stronger player trust and steady contributions to community-driven features.

What You Will Do:

  • Community Support
    • Serve as an active member of the community team, executing initiatives that improve player satisfaction and retention.
    • Act as a day-to-day liaison between players and internal teams, gathering community feedback and surfacing actionable insights.
    • Maintain an authentic brand presence across community channels, keeping messaging aligned with product and marketing.
  • Player Engagement & Content
    • Run and grow community programs.
    • Manage campaigns and content calendars that drive interaction across social, Discord, Reddit, and more.
    • Help create shareable content such as AMAs, patch previews, and dev updates that drive engagement and advocacy.
    • Monitor trends and community behaviors, flagging shifts and recommending adjustments.
  • Community Health & Moderation
    • Apply and help refine moderation policies that keep environments safe and inclusive.
    • Support crisis communications and high-impact player issues, maintaining trust and transparency.
    • Track community sentiment, trust indicators, and escalation trends, reporting on changes over time.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration
    • Work with Product, Live Ops, and Marketing to keep feedback loops tight and community input integrated into features and campaigns.
    • Follow team workflows, tools, and reporting standards to keep output consistent across projects.
    • Bring the player voice into sprint planning, roadmap discussions, and milestone reviews so player feedback informs prioritization.
  • Measurement & Reporting
    • Track KPIs for community performance, including sentiment, engagement rate, content reach, and response times.
    • Share insights and recommendations with the team and studio leadership, using qualitative and quantitative data.
    • Maintain dashboards and retrospectives that show the community's impact on retention, LTV, and engagement.

Who We Think Will Be A Great Fit:

  • 3+ years in community management, running programs and growing communities.
  • Experience influencing game development with player feedback, working with product teams to get community-driven features on the roadmap.
  • Strong written communication, drafting player-facing communications with sensitivity and brand alignment.
  • Platform fluency (Discord, social, Reddit) with experience growing communities and using moderation and reporting tools.
  • Comfort with community metrics and reporting, turning sentiment into insights for dev, product, and marketing teams.
  • Experience supporting influencer programs and creator relationships that move product KPIs.
  • Familiarity with mobile live-service monetization cycles and content planning.
  • Experience working with IP licensors and global stakeholders is a plus.
  • Love for the NBA.

The pay range for this position in Washington at the start of employment is expected to be between $78,900 and $116,760 per year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.

Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards and eligibility to participate in our 401(K) plan and Employee Stock Purchase Program.

Regular, full-time employees are also eligible for a range of benefits at the Company, including: medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance coverage; 14 paid holidays per calendar year; paid vacation time per calendar year (ranging from 15 to 25 days) or eligibility to participate in the Company's discretionary time off program; up to 10 paid sick days per calendar year; paid parental and compassionate leave; wellbeing programs for mental health and other wellness support; family planning support through Maven; commuter benefits; and reimbursements for fitness-related expenses.
