Description of responsibilities:
The Stormwater Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of the Stormwater Program, ensuring compliance with water quality and stormwater management regulations. This role involves strategic planning, project management, and public outreach to reduce pollutants, enhance community health, and promote green stormwater infrastructure (GSI). The Program Manager coordinates with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and the community to successfully execute the program's initiatives.
Required experience:
  • Minimum of five (5) years of landscape architecture/water resources/environmental planning experience.
  • GIS experience, including working knowledge of ESRI software such as ARCMAP.
  • Experience using Cityworks Software for municipal asset management a plus.
Required skills:
  • Comprehensive knowledge of environmental regulations.
    • Clean Water Compliance Regulations
    • Stormwater Management Planning, Design, Implementation and O amp;M
    • Green Stormwater Infrastructure - Design and Construction
    • Landscape Architecture/Water Resource Engineering
  • Thorough understanding of asset management principles and their application in water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure.
  • Thorough Knowledge of capital improvement planning, design, and construction processes related to wet weather control projects.
