Overview

Are you passionate about elevating how media drives growth across global markets? Do you thrive on connecting strategy with execution and building high-performing marketing communities? 

PepsiCos Media COE is looking for an Associate Manager, Market Engagement and Community Development, to help define and embed what great media looks like across our anchor markets, while fostering a connected, collaborative global marketing community. 

In this role, you will support the market engagement lead in shaping and operationalizing media excellence, working with capability leads to codify best-in-class standards across planning, activation, and measurement. You will partner closely with markets to assess their current maturity, understand their readiness to accelerate, and co-develop tailored action plans that unlock growth through media. 

Sitting at the intersection of strategy, capability building, and market engagement, you will play a key role in ensuring our global frameworks translate into real-world impact. You will also act as a connector across the organization, feeding market needs back into the COE to ensure our capability agenda is grounded in what truly drives value. 

Alongside this, you will support efforts to build a thriving global media community, designing and delivering engaging forums that showcase best-in-class work, enable knowledge sharing, and support the rollout of critical capabilities across markets. 

This is a high-visibility role, ideal for someone looking to build global exposure, develop a strong network across markets and functions, and learn from some of the best media and marketing leaders in the industry, all while helping shape the future of how PepsiCo uses media as a growth lever. 


Responsibilities

Market Engagement & Partnership:

  • Close partnership with our media teams in priority markets across the globe
  • Establishing a strong, productive and mutually beneficial working relationship with our market media teams, including leads.
  • Immersion into individual markets to define their relative level of maturity and areas of opportunity
  • Contracting with markets to establish objectives, clarifying the necessary initiatives and actions that are required to drive growth. Gaining commitment from local marketing alongside OPM as a function to achieve those objectives
  • Coordination and curation of quarterly Market Steercos, taking place between local CMO, OPM leadership and local media leads
  • Ongoing close partnership with local marketing and media leads to ensure that actions are being taken and outcomes are achieved to drive growth.

Above Market Capability Engagement & Partnership:

  • Close partnership with above-market capability teams including but not limited to Creators, Measurement, Modern Connections, Partnerships, AI Enablement, Agency Transformation and Data Provisioning.
  • Working with teams further beyond to bring relevant capabilities to our markets including S&T and Commercial Teams
  • Bringing requirements forward from markets to all capability leads through structured briefing process and monthly marketing intelligence reporting

OPM Community Development:

  • Nurturing a sense of community amongst members of the media function. 
  • Building processes, rituals and platforms to enable connectivity, sharing and community building for our diverse global One PEP Media community
  • Facilitating knowledge dissemination to the OPM community through the design and curation of capability roll-out sessions, platforms and rituals.
  • Building regular platforms for communication with all levels of seniority.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $93,500 - $156,450.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 10% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

  • 5+ years of experience in media strategy, media planning, or marketing operations, ideally within a global or matrixed organization.

  • A high-level communicator with an ability to adjust styles to people with varying levels of media knowledge, cultural backgrounds and levels of seniority. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; capable of simplifying complex concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Confident facilitator and community leader with strong stakeholder management abilities.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented, and passionate about continuous improvement and innovation.
