Compensation Structure:

  • Commission: $250–$1,000+ per new client. (depending on quality of cases)
  • Performance Bonuses tied to referrals and revenue goals

Required:

High School Diploma

3 years of Home Care Agency Sales in Private Duty

Key Responsibilities

Referral Development

Build relationships with:

  • Hospital discharge planners
  • Social workers
  • Case managers
  • Skilled nursing facilities
  • Rehabilitation hospitals
  • Assisted living communities
  • Independent living communities
  • Hospice agencies
  • Physicians
  • Geriatric care managers
  • Elder law attorneys
  • Financial planners
  • Veterans Affairs Community Care departments
  • Medicaid Waiver Coordinators
  • Adult Protective Services
  • County Departments of Aging

Government Contract Development

Develop relationships with:

  • U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs
  • State Medicaid agencies
  • Managed Care Organizations (MCOs)
  • Long-Term Services and Supports (LTSS) programs
  • Area Agencies on Aging

The chosen applicant should spend approximately:

  • 70% of their time building referral relationships (hospitals, physicians, senior living communities, VA, Medicaid, and MCOs)
  • 20% on community outreach and events
  • 10% on digital marketing, CRM management, and reporting
