PAX Habitat is a residence offering 102 apartments for independent and semi-independent seniors in a community housing complex that shares its premises with a daycare center for 70 children. PAX Habitat also includes a monastery currently undergoing renovation, which will house regional community organizations and various spaces for the community. In itself, we are an innovative living environment that promotes active aging, intergenerational mixing and openness to the community. Your responsibilities: Development of the living environment: Plan, organize and coordinate a varied program of activities for independent and semi-independent residents Develop and maintain partnerships with various organizations and stakeholders in the region Coordinate activities led by residents, volunteers and various stakeholders Developing civic engagement and participation among residents To lead and manage committees aimed at improving the living environment Coordinate the organization's various intergenerational initiatives Communications and outreach: Managing social media (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube) Website update Produce promotional content and ensure the drafting of various documents (annual report, funding applications, etc.) Organize and coordinate a variety of events Produce communications for residents (emails, internal newsletter, posters, etc.) Participate in the design and implementation of innovative projects (community kitchen, food forest, etc.) Reception and services for residents: To offer a warm welcome and attentive service to residents as well as potential residents Being attentive to the needs and requests of residents and offering them caring support on a daily basis Conduct rental viewings and participate in the integration of new residents Desired profile: Inspiring leadership and initiative Creativity and a high capacity for autonomy Strong interpersonal and communication skills Sensitivity to the needs of the elderly Adaptability and teamwork Excellent command of French (spoken and written) Excellent command of Microsoft Office suite and Canva software Why join PAX Habitat?
