Job description

Reports to: Manager of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine
Employment: Part Time
Schedule: Fill-In, as needed & available
Location: All Quest Locations – Multnomah, Clackamas & Affiliate locations
Travel: Some local travel may be required to meet staffing needs


ABOUT THE POSITION:
The Acupuncturist will be responsible for providing trauma informed yet time efficient patient intakes, acupuncture and TCM treatments during both group and individual sessions clinic shifts. You will be responsible for setting up group acupuncture shifts beforehand, cleaning up and breaking down acupuncture rooms afterwards and restocking supplies as needed. You will be responsible for prompt charting and billing for each acupuncture treatment. You will also be responsible for providing initial acupuncture assessments, which are individual appointments carried out for each patient before they attend group acupuncture. This position is eligible to pick up additional shifts on an as needed basis, depending upon your availability.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:
• Providing trauma informed yet time efficient intakes and acupuncture and TCM treatments in both group and individual sessions
• Providing initial acupuncture assessments
• Promptly charting and billing for acupuncture treatments
• Restocking acupuncture supplies as needed after acupuncture clinic shifts
• Cleaning up and breaking down acupuncture rooms after clinic shifts
• Setting up acupuncture rooms before clinic shifts
• Attending regularly scheduled All Staff and Acupuncture Team meetings
• Maintaining presence and communication with the Quest staff via email

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Active license with OMB
• Ability and enthusiasm to provide intakes and treatments for at least 4 patients per hour (or the ability to quickly develop these skills)
• Ability and enthusiasm to work with an acupuncture team in a mutually supportive and inclusive environment
• Minimum of 3 years of experience


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• NADA certified preferred
• Spanish speaking preferred
