Job Title: Inside Sales Representative
Location: Orlando, FL (Central Florida) or Sarasota, FL (Corporate Office)

Position Summary
U.S. Submergent Technologies is seeking a motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to support the growth of our operations throughout the Florida market. This role is responsible for generating qualified leads, developing client relationships, and supporting revenue growth across our core service lines. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and comfortable engaging with both new and existing clients in a technical services environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, research, and generate new business opportunities within targeted Florida markets
  • Conduct outbound prospecting through calls, emails, and digital outreach to build a strong sales pipeline
  • Qualify leads and coordinate handoff to field sales or operations teams as appropriate
  • Maintain and update CRM systems with accurate prospect and client information
  • Develop and maintain relationships with municipal, industrial, and commercial clients
  • Collaborate with leadership and operations teams to align sales efforts with company goals
  • Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and bid support documentation
  • Follow up on inbound inquiries and marketing-generated leads in a timely manner
  • Track and report on key performance metrics, including lead generation and conversion rates
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and regional market conditions

Requirements

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of inside sales, business development, or lead generation experience is preferred
  • Experience in industrial services, environmental services, construction, or related industries is a plus
  • An associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Sales, or a related field is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and results-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with the Florida municipal and industrial market
  • Experience supporting technical or service-based sales
  • Understanding of bid processes, RFPs, and government contracting (a plus)

Work Environment

This position is based in either our Orlando or Sarasota office, with occasional travel as needed for meetings, client visits, or industry events.
