The HR team at Alcon is seeking 2027 HRLDP Summer Interns. Interns will work on key HR projects within one Centers of Excellence (COE): Global Talent Acquisition, Diversity & Inclusion, Culture Capabilities & Talent (CC&T), or Total Rewards.
Key Projects:
CC&T:
  • The CC&T team is focused on projects and initiatives related to organizational culture, associate engagement, and talent development.

  • Projects subject change: Develop strategy for the company-wide continuous learning movement (Development in Action), supporting the launch of a new onboarding program for all people leaders and new associates around the globe, and sourcing a new talent management platform.

GTA and D&I:
  • This role supports both the Global Talent Acquisition (GTA) and Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) functions. The team focuses on attracting, engaging, and developing diverse talent while strengthening Alcon's employer brand and fostering an inclusive workplace culture.

  • Past projects: Supporting university recruiting and internship programs, employment branding initiatives, candidate engagement efforts, and D&I programs and events.

Total Rewards:
  • The Total Rewards team is focused on projects and initiatives related to compensation, benefits, wellbeing, and recognition programs.

Location: Internship will be located at our U.S headquarters in Fort Worth, TX.
After successful completion of an HRLDP internship at Alcon, interns may be considered for participation in the full-time HR Leadership Development Program (HRLDP) . HRLDP is a key pipeline for graduate degree talent with ambition to advance into HR leadership positions within Alcon. Members will engage in three, 12-month rotations. Rotations will include 2 HRBP positions and 1 HR COE position in Talent Acquisition. Program benefits will include Mentorship, Functional Programming, Networking Events, Tailored Development, and Executive Presentations presented to Alcon leadership.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited university or college for at least one semester prior to the internship, and at least one additional semester following your internship.

  • Must be pursuing a graduate level degree (MS) in HR or obtaining an MBA with a HR/management focus.

  • Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 (out of 4.0).

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis.

  • Must be able to commit to a 10-12 weeks, full-time (minimum of 40 hours weekly) position.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrates leadership skills (i.e. extracurricular activities or projects).

  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
