PLUS Communications is a full-service communications firm based in Arlington, Virginia. PLUS Communications leads award-winning campaigns integrating public affairs, corporate communications, digital, advertising and media buying. PLUS means more!

PLUS Communications is seeking a creative and hard-working Senior Director to join our fast-growing digital practice to help top-tier advocacy campaigns and organizations win, every day.

Your day in this position may include:

  • Crafting innovative digital strategies for public affairs clients, anticipating opportunities and challenges to build timely, cost-efficient, winning campaigns.
  • Managing and cultivating client relationships to grow existing client accounts and leading the development and strategic planning of new business proposals.
  • Managing a team of strategists to successfully execute daily responsibilities and new projects for public affairs accounts.
  • Collaborating with our Graphic Design department to provide design collateral for clients, including logos, one-pagers, social graphics, and more.
  • Partnering with our Digital Advertising team to submit plan requests, traffic new campaigns and prepare client reports.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in digital marketing, public affairs, public relations and / or political campaign work. Some past public affairs or public relations agency experience is required.
  • Advanced writing skills with the ability to write for senior-level stakeholders and proficiency in editing with a strong understanding of AP Style.
  • Experience using digital/social media tools for issue advocacy and public affairs campaigns.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful digital strategies and managing client relationships.
  • Demonstrated experience deploying AI tools to improve processes while adhering to company expectations for utilization.
  • Familiarity with the Adobe creative suite is a plus.

Benefits

The budgeted salary is $120,000 and there is an opportunity for a year-end bonus. Medical, dental, vision, 401k, and life insurance. We also offer a paid parental leave program, paid vacation and paid sick leave. In addition, we have a work from home hybrid environment.
