Inner Circle Agency is hiring on behalf of a fast-scaling marketing agency with headquarters in Montreal and a North American presence. The agency specializes in creative growth strategies, combining performance marketing with influencer-driven campaigns.



Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Finance Director to oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) analysis, tax compliance, cash flow, and forecasting. This role is key to supporting strategic decision-making and ensuring financial stability as the organization scales.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee fiscal operations, ensuring compliance with Canadian and international regulations

  • Manage accounting functions (accounts payable, receivable, general ledger) and prepare financial statements

  • Lead financial analysis and due diligence for potential M&A opportunities

  • Prepare and file corporate income and sales tax returns (Canada and U.S.) while ensuring international compliance

  • Oversee QuickBooks Online (QBO) management and maintain data accuracy

  • Develop and manage cash flow, profit and loss (P&L) statements, and financial forecasts


Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

  • CPA designation in Quebec

  • Minimum 5 years of senior-level financial management experience

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and financial reporting tools

  • Strong knowledge of Canadian tax laws

  • Knowledge of U.S. tax laws and international tax compliance (An asset)

  • Experience in financial analysis for mergers and acquisitions

  • Bilingual in French and English an asset

Preferred:

  • Master’s or MBA in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline
