Job description

NOW HIRING: MANAGEMENT INTERN

Do you have big ideas, a curious mind, and the kind of energy that keeps projects moving forward? Are you ready to jump into real work that impacts real people in a real city? If so, we want you on our team.

The City of Jersey Village is looking for a Management Intern who's excited to learn how local government actually works (spoiler: it's a lot more interesting than your textbooks claim). This is your chance to collaborate with city leadership, contribute to meaningful projects, and gain experience that future employers will definitely want to hear about.

What You'll Get to Do
• Work on projects that support citywide initiatives
• Help develop communications, marketing pieces, and special project deliverables
• Partner with multiple departments to see how each one keeps the city running
• Bring your ideas to the table and watch them take shape
• Build real-world skills that will set you apart

What We're Looking For
• Someone who is curious, motivated, and not afraid to ask questions
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks
• Familiarity with social media, Microsoft Office, and creative problem‑solving
• A student working toward a degree in Public Administration, Government, Communications, or a related field

Why You'll Love It Here
You'll join a team that values learning, collaboration, and creativity. You'll contribute to work that matters, make a difference in the community, and grow your professional skills-not by watching from the sidelines, but by doing.

Location: Jersey Village
Impact: Immediate
Growth Potential: Significant

If you're ready to dive in and help shape the future of Jersey Village, this is your opportunity.
